Pecorino Javano Camilla La Mozzarella

marketingcamillamo

Pecorino is a cheese that typically has a round shape, a hard texture, and a white color. The name Pecorino comes from the word pecora, meaning cheese made from sheep's milk.

Pecorino was originally produced in a rural area of Rome. The Romans loved Pecorino so much that it was even served at royal feasts and carried by soldiers as provisions for war. The Pecorino originating from Rome is known as Pecorino Romano.

Similarly, Camilla La Mozzarella, established in 2013, produces its own cheese. We have started making Pecorino from sheep’s milk, and since our factory is located in Java, we named the product Pecorino Javano.
